Matching your wedding band to your ring — and to decades
Width first: 1.6–2mm bands defer to the engagement ring and stack invisibly; 2.5–3mm holds its own worn alone. If your engagement ring sits low, check clearance before falling for any straight band — halos and low baskets usually need a curved or notched partner to sit flush, and a visible gap between rings is the most common stacking regret.
One honest warning the industry under-mentions: full eternity bands cannot be resized — the stones leave no bare metal to cut and stretch — so size them with unusual care, ideally at day's end, and consider a half-eternity if your size fluctuates.
